Traditional four days foot walk "The roads of Radvilos"

Of four days foot walk "The roads of Radvilos" 2008
Dedicated to Albertas Radvila

On 17 August 2008 – participants of 4×12, 4×22, 4×32, 4x42 km Foot Walk has arrive to the Training Regiment for the final registration and accommodation procedures until 14.00 hrs. During the final registration each participant will be issued booklet with marked routes for all four days, with designated recovery sites and first aid points. There will be indicated start time for every day also.

- 15.00 hrs. – Briefing for participants, team and group leaders at the Training Regiment
- 17.00 hrs. – Opening ceremony of the Foot Walk
- 19.30 hrs. – Concert at the Rukla School Stadium .
- 22.00 hrs. – Festal fireworks.

18, 19, 20 days August 2008 (first, second and third walk days).
Start of participants from Training Regiment Parade Ground. The route is circular and finish registration is till 17.00 hrs. at Rukla School Stadium. There will be concert for the participants at 19.30 hrs.

21 August 2008 (last walk day).
Start of participants from Training Regiment Parade Ground. The route is circular and finish registration is till 17.00 hrs. at Rukla School Stadium. Diplomas and medals will be presented at School Stadium.

       17.45 hrs. – Military teams and civilians formation/parade at Rukla School stadium.
       18.00 hrs. – Closing and awards ceremony.
       19.30 hrs. – Concert for the participants.

22 August 2008 – departure of the participants from the Training Regiment till 12.00 hrs.

DESCRIPTION
Of special route "eXtreme" 2 x 100 km

On 17 August 2008 – arrival of participants to the Training Regiment for the final registration and accommodation till 14.00 hrs. During the final registration each participant will be issued booklet with marked routes for all four days, with designated recovery sites and first aid points.

       15.00 hrs. – Briefing for group leaders at the Training Regiment.
       17.00 hrs. – Opening ceremony of the Foot Walk.
       19.30 hrs. – Concert at the Rukla School stadium.
      22.00 hrs. – Festal fireworks.

18 August 2008 (first Walk day)

9.45 hrs. – Participants formation at the Parade Ground.
10.00 hrs. – Start.

Route of the first Walk day (18 – 19 August):
Rukla – Gaiziunai (9km) – P1 (18km) – Uzusaliai (28km) – P2 (31km ) – Pravieniskes (40km) – P3 (45km) –
Antakalnis (55km) – Kaisiadorys (60km) – P4 (67km – Palomene (72km) – P5 (83km)

19 August 2008 (second day of the Walk).
Finish point after negotiating 100 km is located at Rukla School Stadium. Finish registration will start at 10.00 hrs. till 12.00 hrs. Later registration will not be confirmed. Participants will have one – night stay in the Training Regiment.

20 August 2008 (third day of Walk).

9.45 hrs. – Participants formation at the Parade Ground.
10.00 hrs. – Start.

Route of the second Walk day (20 - 21 August):
Rukla – P1 (13km) – Palomene (21km) – P2 (36km) – Savarine (43km) –
Dainava P3 (60km) – Zasliai (60km) – Pyliai P4 (72km ) – Lomeniai (84km) – P5 (91km)

21 August 2008 (fourth day of Walk).
Finish point after negotiating 200 km will be established at Rukla School Stadium. Finish registration time at 11.30 hrs. till 16.00 hrs. Later registration will not be confirmed. Diplomas and medals for the participants will be presented at School Stadium.

17.45 hrs. – Military teams and civilians formation/parade at Rukla School Stadium.
18.00 hrs. – Closing and awards ceremony.
19.30 hrs. – Concert for the participants. Night stay at the barracks of the Training Regiment

22 August 2008 departure of the participants from the Training regiment till 12.00 hrs.
